Yes. It runs on Google Apps Script, which is free within Google's quotas (100 emails/day for personal accounts, 1,500 for Workspace). We don't have servers. We don't have a database. We don't have a business model. This is a tool we built for ourselves and decided to share.
The tracker is a 1×1 transparent image embedded in the email HTML. It's invisible. However, anyone who inspects the email source code could theoretically find it. This is true of every email tracker ever made. Use it ethically.
More accurate than most paid tools. We built in a 15-second grace period that ignores bot pre-fetches and spam filter checks. Most trackers count these as "opens" and inflate your numbers. We don't.
You can, but respect Google's limits. This is designed for high-stakes individual emails — job applications, sales proposals, investor pitches — not newsletter blasts. If you need to send 10,000 emails, use Mailchimp.
